Decontamination stations
When an incident goes beyond what a portable unit can handle, a station is needed: water, power, equipment, agents and contaminated water collection in a single set that is quickly transported and set up. Hispanovema builds them with its own ATILA and AQUILES units and configures them for the deployment: on a trailer, in a truck-mounted container or in a container with tents for mass decontamination.

What is the difference between RELIDE, VELIDE, PDPOL and EDEM?
RELIDE is a light, multipurpose trailer: it arrives quickly and covers people, vehicles, terrain and equipment. PDPOL does the same with more capacity, from a 20-foot container on a truck, with high- and low-pressure units. The EDEM stations are designed for volume: one for people and one for vehicles. The VELIDE is the van version for firefighters, with showers.
What information do you need to propose a station?
How many people or vehicles have to be decontaminated per hour and of what type, how it will be transported (light vehicle, truck or aircraft), the water and power available on site and the climate. With that, Hispanovema defines the configuration and we send you the data sheet.
What happens to the contaminated water?
It is collected in trays and flexible tanks so that it does not reach the ground. PDPOL and the EDEM stations can include the HRACR system, which treats it for reuse and reduces the amount of water that has to be brought in.
