The Science Behind the Pure Membrane

Egglin is a raw material obtained from eggshell membrane through a 5-step mechanical process, free of harsh chemicals. The result is a natural matrix rich in type I collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, intended for the formulation of nutraceutical, cosmetic and animal nutrition products.

Egglin operates from its certified facilities in Bandırma, Türkiye’s poultry heartland, with fresh supply and full traceability. With international certifications such as ISO 22000, Halal and Kosher, Egglin is a 100% natural and sustainable ingredient for formulators in nutraceuticals, cosmetics and animal nutrition.

From nature, to value

  • From Nature — We carefully evaluate the by-products nature offers us.
  • Advanced Technology — We transform those by-products into high-value raw materials.
  • Natural Content — Natural calcium and functional proteins, free from synthetic additives.
  • Sustainable Future — We contribute to a sustainable future through responsible production.
History

The origin of the brand

Egglin was born in Turkey from the idea of rediscovering the value of resources nature offers us every day. Millions of eggs are used in the food industry daily, generating huge amounts of shells. Egglin turns them into high-value natural raw materials.

Today Egglin has an innovative production approach that develops natural calcium raw materials from the shell and functional protein components from the membrane, building a value chain that runs from Turkey to the global market.

Eggshells

About the founder

Şükrüye Özbilen developed an innovative production model centered on the circular economy and sustainable production. Her research on the proteins, collagen and minerals in eggshell and membrane proved their usefulness across food, healthcare and biotechnology sectors.

Egglin presses on, combining the potential nature offers with science and technology to turn waste into high value-added products and consolidate a sustainable production model.

About Egglin

How is Egglin produced?

Egglin is produced through a 5-step biotechnological process: (1) traceable collection of eggshells from certified food-industry partners; (2) mechanical separation of shell and membrane; (3) cleaning and sterilization in line with food safety standards, with no harsh chemicals; (4) micronization to a homogeneous particle size; and (5) functional raw materials ready for use.

What certifications does Egglin have?

Egglin has ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000 (food safety), Halal and Kosher certifications, and complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations. We guarantee complete traceability and compliance with European standards.

What does Egglin's circular economy model mean?

Egglin reintegrates food-industry by-products —eggshells and membranes that would otherwise be wasted— back into the economy. Through advanced processing technologies they become measurable, traceable functional raw materials, contributing to a zero-waste model and the conservation of natural resources.

Let's develop something together

Egglin is open to partnerships that create value in sustainable production and biotechnology. At AHCEBRIAN we channel joint R&D, product development and industrial application projects with manufacturers and research centres in Spain and Portugal. We value long-term relationships built on trust.
