Ground UGV
It carries on its back whatever payloads the mission calls for: cameras, thermal imaging, CBRN detectors, a robotic arm, communications or material transport. It is used for surveillance, inspection and rescue, and in CBRN reconnaissance it brings the detector close to the source, enters interiors and narrow passages, and takes samples or places markers depending on the accessories fitted. It is operated remotely, within the coverage of the communications link.
